Good App, a few suggestions
Yes it is a great seating chart, the best I can find. Here are the things I would like to see improved:
1. As other reviews have said, using only a grid system is extremely limiting. I have “made do” for years and worked around it but would be so helpful to have more flexibility.
2. Is there some way I can use the same photos in multiple seating charts? The camera/roster system works well and is easy to use. But as an elementary music teacher, I have three seating chart setups for each class: riser positions for performances, table and chair setups for desk and small group work, and floor mats for movement activities. The time and patience required to photo 600 students 3 times each is completely crazy. Again I have found workarounds but it involved paper printout which misses the whole point of the App, right?
Any hope? Thanks for your consideration.

Doesn’t sync on the cloud to an account
I love this app. Best seating chart I’ve ever used. I need to upgrade my phone but this app doesn’t sync on the iCloud so if I do I will lose everything. Or if I were to lose my phone and buy a new one all my data would be lost. Also I set everything up on my phone but I can’t get it to show up on my iPad. I just assumed it would sync flawlessly between my devices but it doesn’t. If I had an account to log into and it saved all the data on the cloud I would use this app exclusively. For now I’ll have to start shopping for a different one so I don’t have to be in fear of losing everything I set up. Please let me know when you fix this problem.
Needs one big fix
Seating Chart App Free Download
I really like the idea of this app, and I thought it had everything I needed from the description. Unfortunately after paying and downloading, I realized that the “custom desk layouts” are limited to simple grids. This is not how most classrooms are organized anymore, so the app became unusable for me. I often have tables with 4 students, or some desks pushed up against others. I’m hoping the app author updates to allow us to freely move the desk formations to reflect our actual rooms. Then this would become a five star app.
